It's a big day for Green Leaf Organic Chew and the invention powerhouse World Patent Marketing. There is a buzz building around this unusual blend of green tea, peppermint, tumeric, baking soda and stevia. Green Leaf is packed into pouches which can be enjoyed with water as a tea or placed directly in your mouth between your lip and gums to help freshen your breath, boost your energy, whiten your teeth, and help combat dependency to tobacco products.
Matt just informed World Patent Marketing this morning that Green Leaf Organic has received a letter of intent for a $500,000 order even before the product's release to the public.
"I can not believe this." said Matt S., inventor of Green Leaf Organic Chew, "This is my dream come true. I am shocked. I would have liked the process to move a bit quicker but we are finally there. We are currently negotiating with regional tobacco distributors and Scott even got us hooked up with the military to start a pilot program to help get soldiers off tobacco. I wish I could announce who Scott and I are speaking with at the end of the week but I don't want to jinx it"
"We are all very excited about the release of Green Leaf Organic Chew to the public." said Scott Cooper, CEO and Creative Director of World Patent Marketing, "This has been a long road to make this product a reality. I can tell you that Matt deserves most of the credit. He has worked tirelessly with our product development team to bring this product home. Now the fun begins."
World Patent Marketing has tapped one of its board members, retired General Nitzan Nuriel of the Israel Defense Forces, to help promote the Green Leaf product around the globe. "General Nuriel can open doors for this product that nobody else can." said Cooper.
The President of the United States awarded General Nuriel the Legion of Merit for his humanitarian, military and diplomatic achievements. During his visit last year to World Patent Marketing, General Nuriel was honored by the City of Miami and Miami Commissioner Frank Suarez for his commitment to fight the War on Terror.
"Based on my long military experience, I know that a smoker's ability to function is weakened when they can't smoke." said retired General Nitzan Nuriel, "They become less effective and lose their edge. It makes them nervous and less focused. It is such a serious issue that it can actually add risk to the mission. The Israel Defense Forces sees the great importance in promoting the health of its soldiers. I believe that Green Leaf Organic Chew can be a very interesting opportunity for the military to help alleviate this problem."
In the U.S. military, smoking has plummeted since the first anti-smoking programs were introduced in 1975, but there has been a similar decline among Americans in general. About 24 percent of U.S. soldiers smoked in 2011, according to the Department of Defense, and 15 percent of adults smoked in 2015, according to the Centers for Disease Control. By comparison, about 20 percent of Israeli adults smoke, Central Bureau of Statistics data shows. The average rate across Europe is even higher.
According to Dr. Leah Rosen of Tel Aviv University, "The use of tobacco harms IDF soldiers and security in general. The government and the Ministry of Health need to cooperate with the IDF in order to reduce the number of soldiers who start smoking, to encourage soldiers to quit smoking, and to protect non-smokers from exposure to cigarette smoke."
Green Leaf Organic can be pre-ordered on Invention Town through the month of April. Supplies are going to be limited so pre-order your very own 3 pack of Green Leaf today.
